YogAlign, created by yogi Michaelle Edwards, LMT, E-RYT, shows you how good posture can create bio-sustainability in your body that supports optimal cellular function and enables the body to heal itself.

You will learn how good posture can alleviate chronic pain, increase feelings of happiness, keep energy levels high, boost confidence, and support the optimal functioning of all major systems of the body. Using breath-based tools to realign your posture quickly and painlessly, YogAlign is accessible for any age and fitness level.

Your posture will change at the level of your nervous system, and you will learn:

  • Better posture from the inside out
  • Unique breathing practices to tone the core
  • How to habitually move from the core in a safe way
  • Self-massage to stimulate blood flow, nourish tissues, and increase kinesthetic awareness
  • Tension balancing skills to stabilize joints, create more agility, and free fascial restrictions
  • Natural alignment to avoid compression and friction on joint surfaces.

Faculty Bio

Michaelle Edwards, E-RYT 500, LMT

Michaelle Edwards has been a student of yoga for more than 40 years and a teacher for more than 25. Her experience with yoga began under the mentorship of Swami Satchidananda at his first ashram in the United States, and her work and practice have been strongly influenced by her training with internationally renowned author and yoga teacher Erich Schiffmann.

Michaelle Edwards is founder and director of Kauai Yoga School, offering teacher trainings, retreats, and workshops worldwide. A licensed massage therapist, musician, author, and creator of YogAlign, she is known for her boundless energy, humor, and dedication to helping people of all ages and fitness levels become aligned and pain-free.

She is creator of the DVD and companion book YogAlign: Pain free Yoga from Your Inner Core, has been featured in the New York Times, and has published numerous articles in print and online for the Huffington Post, Elephant Journal, and Inspiration.
