200-Hour Self-Awakening Yoga® Teacher Training

Formerly Nosara Yoga® Teacher Training

1440 Multiversity 800 Bethany Drive Scotts Valley,CA 95066

Yoga is a vehicle for personal inquiry, and the technique is a bridge to consciousness itself. Yoga’s profound benefits are not in the static final expression of a posture; rather, yoga is the process of restoring the functional connection between body, mind, and source energy for living a more authentic and fulfilled life.

Based on a foundation more than 2,000 years old, yoga endures as a journey into one’s self, bringing a person in deeper contact with their inner wisdom. By the time you go through this monthlong training, you will long to share this with other human beings, this way of relating to ourselves and the world—and that is yoga.

The 200-Hour Self Awakening Yoga Teacher Training provides an in-depth exploration of the fundamentals of hatha yoga practices, vinyasa flow, and meditation in motion, giving you the knowledge and experience to safely, skillfully, and mindfully guide students with careful attention to alignment, modifications, and technique. Not only will you leave this training able to confidently lead yoga classes, but also you will gain a valuable network of support through the community generated from this monthlong immersion course.

Taught in a nonauthoritarian environment, this training guides you step-by-step through the process of discovering your own unique expression and style of yoga, supporting you as you come to know the teacher already within you. In this yoga teacher training immersion, you will:

  • Deepen your yoga practice and discover how to continue developing your practice for lifelong learning
  • Learn exceptional teaching skills and business practices that will support you as you begin a successful yoga teaching career and vocation
  • Develop balanced and healthy lifestyle habits that you can continue upon returning home
  • Learn community-building skills that will help you create a sangha (or sacred community) once at home, and establish lifelong friendships that will help you sustain your practice throughout a lifetime.

Through self-awakening yoga movement inquiry, cultivate the ability to dive deep into the experience of being human, increase your capacity for being curious and staying with what arises, and reconnect to your inner wisdom.
