3 Ways to Stay
CHOOSE A PROGRAM OR CONFERENCE
We believe there is power in immersion learning—setting aside daily urgencies and dedicating uninterrupted time and energy to focus on important but often elusive priorities. Choose a weekend or 5-day course from among our research-based, cutting-edge programs with expert faculty.
REST & RENEWAL
An alternative to registering for a faculty-led program, our Rest & Renewal experience invites you to get away for quality personal time and engaging new experiences. Look forward to a blend of activity and free time—your stay can be as scheduled or unscheduled as you choose.
Rent space on our campus for a corporate retreat or group event and have access to campus amenities in between your scheduled meeting times. With unique options for team-building, fun and relaxing ways to spend downtime, and delicious meals, your group will have plenty of Time to Connect ™️, collaborate, and rejuvenate.
Once you select a program or confirm your dates for Rest & Renewal, simply click Register, and you will be guided through room choices and checkout. If you have any questions, we invite you to contact us.
The cost of your stay includes your program tuition or Rest & Renewal rate plus the cost of your chosen accommodation type. A deposit of 50% of your total stay package (tuition plus accommodations and applicable taxes) is due at time of reservation and can be made with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. The remaining 50% of your total stay package (tuition plus accommodations and applicable taxes) is due upon arrival and can be made with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. Time to Connect ™
Tuition rates cover the cost of your program. Accommodation rates cover your room price and much more, including:
- All meals
- Daily meditation and yoga classes
- Non-ticketed evening events
- Use of the Fitness Center and redwood trails
- Access to the Healing Arts center, steam rooms, infinity-edge hot tub, cafés, and shops.
What to Pack
While typically sunny much of the year, the weather in Scotts Valley can be cool in the mornings and evenings. Check your preferred weather service to prepare accordingly. Be sure to include:
- Layers—such as sweater, jacket, or scarf; rain gear if rain’s forecasted during your stay
- Walking/hiking shoes or sneakers with traction to enjoy our redwood trails
- Exercise/yoga clothes
- Water bottle with cap—we have refill stations across campus, and we sell water bottles in the shop
- Exercise mat—if you would prefer to use your own, rather than those that we supply
- Bathing suit—for using the infinity-edge tub overlooking the redwood forest
- Socks—if you would feel more comfortable with your shoes off in program rooms
- Robe—if you are booked in a shared room, you might enjoy having a robe for privacy
- Eye covers/ear plugs—for deeper sleep in shared rooms, if you wish
- Slippers/flip-flops—if you’re booked in a room with shared hall bathrooms
Please plan to refrain from wearing heavily scented perfumes on campus, as some guests have sensitivities or allergies.
We are a smoke- and flame-free environment and ask that you leave items such as candles, incense, sage, and other materials at home.
Arrival + Departure
Your room will be ready by 4:00 pm, and you can check in as early as 2:15 pm and leave your luggage at reception. We encourage you to allow for a little extra time so that you don’t feel rushed. All our main campus buildings are accessible, and we offer a range of accessible housing types. The campus is on hilly terrain, and there is not a continuous accessible pathway throughout the grounds. Each building has its own accessible path and is connected to a public way. To transport guests to and from the parking area and to ensure access between buildings that do not share an accessible path, we offer an accessible shuttle. For additional questions about accessibility and to coordinate your transportation while on campus, please contact us at least two weeks in advance of your arrival.
