Memorial Day Discovery Weekend

Memorial Day 1440 Discovery Weekend

Join us on Memorial Day weekend for our new limited-time offering and kick off your summer with an unforgettable experience.

Like all signature 1440 Discovery Weekends, expert teachers guide a combination of classes and activities designed to help you tap into what brings you most alive, explore the edges of your potential, access innate wisdom and intuition, and learn tools to bring this way of being into your everyday life.

You won’t want to miss the highly anticipated special events on campus, included as part of your stay. Saturday evening, we welcome renowned couples therapist Esther Perel for a talk on The Future of Love. Sunday night, we invite you to dive into deep relaxation during sound meditation and ceremony with accomplished musician East Forest.

The Call to Adventure

Through a variety of experiences, including forest walks, a cooking demonstration and lunch in our Teaching Kitchen, yoga and meditation accompanied by special guest East Forest, creative expression classes, and more, you’ll have time for deep personal reflection as well as connection with others.

The schedule gives options, and between activities there is plenty of time to explore campus and pause for rest and renewal.

  • Soak in the infinity-edge tub overlooking the redwoods.
  • Walk the labyrinth.
  • Delight in a massage (for an additional fee).
  • Relax and enjoy silence and downtime while we care for you.

Come on your own, with your friend or partner, or bring a group to celebrate your special occasion. Meet new friends, gain new skills, and try on different practices that could become a treasured part of your life when you return home.
