Is the campus safe and secure?

1440 is private campus with 24-hour security and surveillance. There are house phones in the corridor of each guest building, but there are no phones in the guest rooms themselves; therefore, guests are encouraged to text "SERVICE" to (831) 498-1944 upon arrival which will provide access and communication with 1440 staff on demand.
