1440 offers dining for all guests at Kitchen Table and does not operate as a free-standing restaurant. We source, prepare and serve local and organic vegetables; organic and local rice; grains; legumes; lightly seasoned proteins; and tofu. The vast majority of our food is vegan- and vegetarian-friendly. Ingredients for each dish are pre-determined and three fresh, seasonal, well-rounded meals are plated to order in front of you so you may determine what you prefer on your plate. The culinary team is not able to prepare specialty items to meet individual requests, nor can we risk exposure to certain foods since ingredients for each meal are thoughtfully selected in advance and the dining room is shared by all campus guests. For the health and safety of all guests in compliance with the California Department of Public Health, no outside food or beverages are allowed in any public spaces.
