Wendy Baron is a teacher, author, researcher, coach, and national leader in the field of social and emotional development. Wendy cofounded the Santa Cruz/Silicon Valley New Teacher Project and the New Teacher Center. She is a pioneer in applied neuroscience and certified in organizational systems coaching and administrative services.
Wendy served as online content director for the Chopra Center and is certified in yoga, meditation, and Ayurvedic Perfect Health. Wendy has been part of the 1440 team since January 2017 and she regularly teaches meditation and conscious communication and leadsmindful nature walks.
Wendy is passionate about improving health and well-being through nutrition, movement, and connected relationships. She is an avid gardener, mountain biker, and skier, and can often be found on the trails in Santa Cruz and the Sierras.
