Susan Powers is author of five cookbooks, a professional food photographer, and the creative force behind Rawmazing.com. She has been revolutionizing the world of raw food with her inventive and delicious recipes and beautiful food styling and photography.
Certified in plant-based nutrition and in professional and plant-based cooking, Susan brings traditional food preparation methods into both the raw and cooked plant-based food world, balancing flavor, color, texture, and mouth feel.
She started the Rawmazing blog seven years ago after finding a way of eating that helped her heal past digressions with food. After years of constantly searching to be “filled,” she found grace and true joy in life through raw, plant-based, and whole foods.
Through her recipes, she shares the knowledge she has acquired in her food journey and her passion about food and how it affects our bodies and health. She aims to inspire people and help them bring health, joy, peace, and beauty into their lives.
A top graduate from the Rouxbe Professional Plant-Based Cooking Certification, Susan trained in T. Collin Campbell’s Plant-Based Nutrition course through Cornell University’s eCornell Certificate Program, where she also learned to balance raw foods with the health benefits of properly prepared cooked foods.
