Scott Blossom has been a licensed practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), an Ayurvedic consultant, and a Shadow Yoga teacher since 1997. He approaches both his teaching and his clinical practice from a multidimensional perspective, integrating contemporary Western and classical Eastern concepts of healing and balance.
With 14 years of clinical experience, Scott is on the faculty of the Kripalu School of Ayurveda and has written articles for both Yoga Journal and The Journal of the Association of International Yoga Therapists, as well as a series of articles on herbal medicine for Natural Health magazine.
He has a master’s degree in TCM from the Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine and has studied with Zhander Remete, the founder of Shadow Yoga; Dr. Robert Svoboda, Ayurvedic physician and scholar; and Chinese Master Herbalist Dr. Henry Han. He specializes in women’s health, as well as the musculoskeletal, immune, and digestive systems.
