Sat Dharam Kaur began studying Kundalini Yoga with Yogi Bhajan—who named her a “teacher of teachers and healer of healers”—in 1976 and now facilitates teacher training programs internationally.
Her naturopathic medical practice specializes in the prevention and treatment of breast cancer and she designed and developed the Healthy Breast® Program to help educate women in breast cancer prevention through Kundalini Yoga and holistic lifestyle practice. Working closely with Dr. Gabor Maté, she also developed and delivered the renowned programs Beyond Addiction: The Yogic Path to Recovery and the psychotherapeutic approach of Compassionate Inquiry.
A featured teacher at yoga festivals and naturopathic conferences worldwide, she is the recipient of the Ontario Naturopathic Doctor of the Year award and has been a featured speaker at world conferences on breast cancer. She is the author of several best-selling books, including A Call to Women: The Healthy Breast Program & Workbook, The Complete Natural Medicine Guide to Breast Cancer, and The Complete Natural Medicine Guide to Women’s Health.
