Sara Potler LaHayne is founder and CEO of Move This World, a global nonprofit that works with more than 9,000 individuals in 22 cities and four continents to harness the power of creativity to transform conflict, build trust, and inspire change.
Move This World has reached more than 100,000 youth, addressing their emotional well-being in a way that also influences their communities to foster safe and supported learning environments.
Sara has presented at conferences in five continents and has been featured throughout the media, including in Forbes, the Washington Post, the Huffington Post, and the Guardian. A lifelong dancer and former professional performer, Sara was a Fulbright Scholar in Bogotá, Colombia, when she authored, implemented, and evaluated the original Move This World curriculum in Colombian public elementary schools.
Sara is the recipient of numerous awards and fellowships from global organizations and institutes in the arts, youth leadership, peace work, entrepreneurial development, progressive economics, and the social consciousness movement.
