Ryan Redman is cofounder and executive director of the Flourish Foundation, a social nonprofit dedicated to promoting contemplative practices in communities for the purpose of achieving mental balance and universal compassion.
He is also a certified instructor of Cultivating Emotional Balance (CEB) and serves as a core faculty member of the Inner Kids Program. He has been teaching contemplative-based practices in Sun Valley, Idaho, for the past 15 years.
Ryan developed an interest in contemplative practices at an early age. In his early 20s he spent three years in India, deepening his personal practice and furthering his understanding of various traditions. He holds a master’s degree in contemplative education from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, and continues to study meditation with B. Alan Wallace.
Ryan is actively involved in local community service as a Rotarian and hospice volunteer, and each year he leads international service projects to Central America and Asia.
