Rusty Wells is a San Francisco–based yoga teacher, and the creator of Bhakti Flow Yoga, a synthesis of Bhakti Yoga—the yoga of devotion—and vinyasa flow, which emphasizes a seamless connection between breath and movement.
Bhakti Flow is based on the philosophy that through the practice of yoga we are also practicing unconditional love and devotion, through which we can heal ourselves and therefore reduce suffering in the interconnected world we are all part of. Rusty’s popular classes and teacher trainings are an experiential explosion of music, sweat, joy, stillness, and energy.
He has been featured in numerous publications, including Yoga Journal, Yogi Times, Breathe Magazine, San Francisco Chronicle, Bay Guardian, SF Weekly, and San Francisco Magazine. He is also the author of Bhakti Flow Yoga: A Training Guide for Practice and Life, and leads trainings, retreats, and workshops throughout the world.
