Moana Diamond started as a modern dancer at age five in a barn in Connecticut, graduated at age seven to Olatunji’s African Dance Center in Harlem, and then as a teen to Martha Graham and Alvin Ailey schools in New York City.
She began her exploration of healing through therapeutic movement after suffering injuries as a theater performer and dancer. She received Pilates instruction certification from Physical Mind Body and from ITT Pilates.
Moana has taught Pilates and dance for over 10 years and has led workshops in California and Hawaii at private studios and conferences, including the Science and Non-Duality Conference.
Moana appears in her original cabarets and has performed in many venues in California and New York, and at dance and music festivals such as Bumbershoot (Seattle), Boom (Portugal), Winter Music Conference (Miami), and Ice House (New York). Choreographer to Michael Narada Walden’s Super Producer Tour in Japan, she was the Raspberry Beret Girl in Prince’s video of the same name.
