Mimi began teaching yoga in 1998. Her eclectic style is informed by her training in yoga, dance, performance, and aerial arts. She studied dance at Arizona State University, the School of Ballet Arizona and has performed with Opendance since 1994. She received her yoga teacher training from At One Yoga in Phoenix, Arizona.
After a devastating car accident, she lived with neck and back pain for 10 years. Using the techniques in her video Back in Shape, she is now pain free and is committed to helping others heal themselves.
She has produced four highly acclaimed DVDs: Back in Shape, Yin Yoga, Prenatal Yoga and Back in Action, and several YouTube instructional videos. Mimi has presented at national yoga conferences and retreats in the United States and Southeast Asia.
