Laura Larriva Page (aka Shakti Sunfire) is a movement guide, yoga teacher, and advocate of the earth, blending her deep love of somatic movement, mythology, and ecology into powerful, embodied explorations of soul.
She has spent the last 10 years as a traveling movement educator, teaching hoop dance, yoga, and somatic movement therapies internationally.
An avid and enthusiastic practitioner of all forms of yoga, Laura studied closely with world-renowned teachers John Friend, Sianna Sherman, Janet Stone, and Shiva Rea. She also studied the Sanskrit language and journeyed deep into classical Tantric philosophy at the Mattamayura Institute with Christopher Hareesh Wallis.
Feeling the call to catalyze a deep, systemic shift in the lives of all who dream of flowering and to encourage people to reach their full potential, she is completing her master’s degree in psychology, leadership, and social transformation with Jean Houston and is in apprenticeship as an underworld guide to soul with Bill Plotkin and the Animas Valley Institute.
