Kris Carr

Wellness expert, author, soldier in the fight against disease

In 2003, Kris Carr was diagnosed with a rare and incurable (yet thankfully slow-growing) stage IV cancer. This “WTF moment” transformed her into an irreverent foot soldier in the fight against disease. A multiple New York Times best-selling author, wellness activist, and cancer thriver, Kris teaches people how to take back their health and live like they mean it.

Kris is a member of Oprah Winfrey’s SuperSoul 100 and a regular lecturer at hospitals, wellness centers, and corporations such as Whole Foods and Harvard University. Kris’ books, Crazy Sexy Juice and Crazy Sexy Kitchen, and her Crazy Sexy You 21-Day Total Wellness Program transform the way people live, love, and eat.

Her inspiring approach to living and thriving has landed her media spots in Glamour magazine, Scientific American, and on the CBS Evening News, to name a few. Named a “new role model” by the New York Times, she is the subject and director of the documentary Crazy Sexy Cancer, which premiered at the SXSW Film Festival and aired on TLC and OWN.
