Kathie Madonna Swift is an inspirational educator, innovator, and practitioner in the field of integrative and functional nutrition. She has served as the education director of Food as Medicine since the program’s founding in 2001. Kathie pioneered leading-edge nutrition programs at Dr. Mark Hyman’s UltraWellness Center, Canyon Ranch health resorts, and Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health and continues her work at these organizations today. She is also cofounder of the acclaimed Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy, www.IFNAcademy.com, an online training program for health-care professionals.
Kathie is the author of two books on digestive health including The Swift Diet: 4 Weeks to Mend the Belly, Lose the Weight, and Get Rid of the Bloat and coauthor with Gerard Mullin, MD, of The Inside Tract: Your Good Gut Guide to Great Digestive Health.
