Kate Feldman, MSW, LCSW, and Joel Feldman, PCC, have been helping people transform their relationships for more than 30 years. With training in Imago, Gestalt, and Internal Family Systems therapies, as well as EMDR and equine-assisted psychotherapy (EAP), the Feldmans have developed a unique style of working with couples based on authenticity, experiential inner exploration, and relationship education. They combine yoga and mindfulness with traditional couples-therapy methods, using the art of presence as the foundation for healthy intimacy and satisfying relationships.
Cofounders and former codirectors of the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, Kate and Joel are the creators of The Conscious Relationships Institute, focused on creating healthy couples. Kate received her clinical training from the Smith College School for Social Work, and Joel is certified by Coach Training International as a relationship and life coach. Joel also holds certifications as a school and divorce mediator, and has extensive background as a team-building consultant.
Both Kate and Joel believe that the future of humanity depends on people consciously loving each other and their children, and they are dedicated to ending the cycle of generational wounding that is passed on through families, communities, nations, and our global family. After 30 years of marriage they still practice what they teach, and continue to find new ways to deepen their relationship.
