Jurian Hughes is a pathfinder. Through the gateway of the body, she guides students to connect with themselves through tools that enable them to access a more embodied, inspired life. She is founder of the Yoga of Voice, a senior faculty member of the Kripalu School of Yoga, and cofounder of A Wild Life Sanctuary™.
Jurian is also co-creator of The Yoga of Yes, and a Let Your Yoga Dance® teacher trainer. A theatre performer known for her passionate, playful, and eloquent teaching style, she is an adept facilitator, mentor, coach, and writer trained in the Alexander Technique, Linklater Voice, singing, circus arts, ballet, and ballroom, Latin, and modern dance.
A graduate of Williams College and NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts—with a two-decade professional theatre career that includes Broadway, off-Broadway, international theatre, film, and television—Jurian works with students as a voice coach and personal mentor.
She leads retreats and trainings around the world that utilize yoga, dance, voice, and play to foster creativity, joy, and the ability to thrive. Jurian travels the globe offering her unique and contagious blend of playfulness, fire, compassion, and grounded elegance.
