Julia Mossbridge, PhD

Cognitive neuroscientist and precognition researcher

Julia Mossbridge is a futurist trained in cognitive neuroscience and the founder and research director of Mossbridge Institute. Dr. Mossbridge is also a visiting scholar in the psychology department at Northwestern University, a fellow at the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS), the science director at [email protected] Labs, and an associated full professor in integral and transpersonal psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies.

She is best known for her work on presentiment and precognition. Her research interests are: time and the unconscious mind, intuition, dreaming, soundscape influence on mood, and models of transformation and transcendence. Her focus is on teaching and learning about love and time through speaking, project leadership, conducting research, and coaching technology executives and engineers.

Julia is currently engaged in four love-centered projects:

  • LOVING AI, a project designed to bring unconditional love into artificial intelligence (especially artificial general intelligence)
  • A project examining whether hypnosis can be used to induce a state of unconditional love
  • The Calling, her current book project about how love gets translated into life purpose
  • Consciously bringing unconditional love into the lives of the tech workers and executives she coaches.

Recipient of the Charles Honorton Integrative Contributions Award, she is the author of The Calling and Unfolding: The Perpetual Science of Your Soul’s Work. She is coauthor, with Theresa Cheung, of The Premonition Code and coauthor, with Imants Baruss, of Transcendent Mind: Rethinking the Science of Consciousness.
