James Higgins is a leading yoga and meditation instructor in the San Francisco Bay Area known for his unique, transformative approach to teaching, interweaving his long-term studies of both asana practice and vipassana meditation.
James offers a form of hatha yoga vinyasa with a strong emphasis on the integration of physical, mental, and emotional wellness. Each of his classes holds the intention for peaceful healing, personal evolution, and a deeper understanding of the heart.
Using Buddhist wisdom, mysticism, soul retrieval, spiritual insight, personal development, and conscious leadership, he creates a journey for his students that allows them to experience the very best of themselves in body, mind, and spirit.
James has taught throughout Europe, Mexico, Asia, and the United states, in venues such as the Yoga Journal Conference, the Omega Institute, Wanderlust, the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, and the Tassajara Zen Center.
