Christine Carter is a sociologist and prolific writer. She draws on scientific research to help people lead their most courageous, joyful, meaningful, and authentic lives.

A sought-after keynote speaker and executive coach, she is senior fellow at UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center, where for many years she was the executive director.

The author of The Sweet Spot: How to Accomplish More by Doing Less and Raising Happiness, Dr. Carter is also the writer of an award-winning blog, Brave Over Perfect, and is a contributor to US News & World Report online.
