Divinity scholar and cocreator of Harry Potter and the Sacred Text

Casper ter Kuile is a Ministry Innovation Fellow at Harvard Divinity School, where he supports innovative community leaders across the secular and sacred landscape.

Through his work, Casper aims to build a world of joyful belonging. Together with his colleague, Angie Thurston, he has coauthored two reports—“How We Gather” and “Something More”—that map this emerging way of thinking, teaching, and being. Casper cohosts the award-winning podcast Harry Potter and the Sacred Text with Vanessa Zoltan, which engages a modern classic through traditional sacred reading practices such as Havruta and Lectio Divina. Casper is also an On Being Strategist and was previously the cofounder of Campaign Bootcamp and the UK Youth Climate Coalition. He lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts with his husband.
