Amba Stapleton has been a yoga practitioner and yoga educator for more than 30 years. Passionate about finding the links between science and mysticism, she is an avid researcher of the latest studies in neuroscience, neurobiology, neurochemistry, and exercise physiology.
With her extensive knowledge of physical alignment, and her connection to the unseen forces at play in her own life, Amba guides her students and teachers-in-training toward a grounded connection with the body as the foundation for engaging all of the dimensions of the Self’s multidimensional experience.
Amba is the cofounder and codirector, with her husband Don Stapleton, of the Nosara Yoga Institute, where they lead 200-, 500-, and 1,000-hour teacher-training programs. She is the creator of the DVD Where Rhythm and Gravity Meet.
