Artist, storyteller, modern spiritual guide
Alexandra Roxo helps people find their voices, release limiting beliefs imposed by society, and come home to their true nature. Named a modern spiritual leader by Well+Good, she is an actress, filmmaker, transformational mentor, healer, and writer. Through her online collective, Moon Club, she offers hundreds of women worldwide a space to gather in spiritual practice and community. And through social media, she engages tens of thousands of followers with moon rituals and daily messages of empowerment.
Alexandra’s web series, Be Here Nowish, about her Saturn’s Return and the spiritual path of her late 20s, debuted to much critical acclaim and was featured in the New Yorker alongside shows such as High Maintenance and Broad City. Her Vice show Every Woman, which has amassed over 10 million views, was turned into a pilot for Viceland TV with executive producer Spike Jonze. A commercial and documentary film director, she has spoken at Lincoln Center, the Tribeca Film Festival, and Independent Film Week.
Since her teens, Alexandra has studied with a range of spiritual teachers, deepening her knowledge of Tantra, shamanic healing, Reiki, moon rituals, and Goddess-based traditions. She works with clients one-on-one in custom programs and healing rituals and speaks publicly about her path and practice. Her monthly moon ritual columns appear in The Numinous, Girlboss, and MindBodyGreen.
Alexandra’s first book, Fuck Like a Goddess: A Step-By-Step Radical Guidebook to Healing Yourself, Reclaiming Your Power and Stepping into Your Full Queendom!, will be published by Sounds True/Macmillan in 2020.
