A Three-Day Educational Journey of Nervous System Regulation, Embodied Wisdom, and Renewal
As the world around us continues to shift unpredictably, our nervous systems bear the weight of uncertainty, digital overstimulation, and collective anxiety. The intimate three-day Soul Strides retreat at 1440 Multiversity is an immersive learning journey that offers a sanctuary for deep nervous system recalibration—guiding you to access inner calm, ground yourself in present-moment awareness, and emerge with renewed clarity and resilience.
Spring—with its inherent qualities of emergence and renewal—provides the perfect backdrop for personal transformation and growth of knowledge. Led by 1440 Adjunct Faculty members Dr. Sara Herman, MD, ABOIM, and Alison Hunter, LMFT, Master Facilitator Equus Coach, this workshop is rooted in the 1440 Live Well learning pillar, and through the powerful combination of ketamine-assisted therapy, equine wisdom, and supportive group process, participants will learn about and discover sustainable practices for cultivating steadiness amidst chaos, developing a trust in the intelligence of their bodies and the wisdom of their emotions.
Core Learning Themes & Intentions:
Awakening Calm: Cultivating inner peace through mindful presence and nervous system regulation practices that can be integrated into daily life
Embodied Wisdom: Harnessing the mirror of equine connection to deepen somatic awareness, strengthen boundaries, and establish genuine safety
Resilient Renewal: Embracing spring's energy as a catalyst for personal transformation, knowledge and sustainable well-being
Finding Balance: Honoring both activation and rest as essential components of a regulated nervous system
Through guided therapeutic experiences, nature immersion at the 75-acre 1440 Multiversity campus, and evidence-based integrative practices, participants will learn to navigate both activation and stillness—embracing the paradox of movement and rest, just as spring balances the vitality of new growth with the stability of deep roots.
