About This Learning Event

Join us for a very special holiday 1440 Lunch & Learn where we embrace our ability to Love Well and support our community this season. Spark your creativity with a meditative art class before discovering a gentle qigong and meditation experience designed to align your energy and foster clarity. Wrap up your morning at 1440 with a nourishing locally sourced lunch at Kitchen Table, featuring inspiring flavors and connection with likehearted attendees.

Proceeds from this Community Event will benefit the holiday gift drive for Center for Farmworker Families (CFFF), a fellow 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Santa Cruz County that is committed to raising awareness about the challenging circumstances farmworker families face, while actively working to improve financial stability, physical health, and overall well-being. Farmworkers and their families are struggling to survive, and CFFF has coordinated a Holiday Gift Drive initiative with five partner organizations to support more than 1,000 children of farmworkers with gifts including soccer balls, clothing, blankets, toys and other needed items. We are grateful for the work CFFF is doing to care for those who work so hard to provide us all sustenance, and for the support you are providing through attending this fulfilling gathering at 1440. Learn more about CFFF at https://farmworkerfamily.org/
Meditative Art Class

Meditative Art Class
Discover a simple and relaxing way to express yourself through art. In this hands-on session, you'll learn to create unique designs using basic, intuitive strokes on a beautifully crafted paper tile. As you focus on each step, you may find a sense of calm, enhanced creativity, and a deeper connection to the present moment.

Qigong & Meditation
Experience the perfect blend of movement and stillness in this Qigong and meditation combo class. Begin with gentle, flowing Qigong exercises designed to harmonize your energy, promote balance, and cultivate a sense of vitality. As your body unwinds and your mind settles, transition into a guided meditation to deepen your inner awareness and invite a profound sense of calm and clarity. Whether you're seeking relaxation, renewal, or a deeper connection to yourself, this class offers a holistic approach to grounding and peace. All levels are welcome.
