What to Expect

Whether you’re visiting for immersion learning or unstructured downtime, 1440 Multiversity creates the space for you to find new energy in engaging classes and workshops, discover serene moments of relaxation and reflection, connect with others in lively dialogue, and enjoy healthy delicious, meals.

Morning

Wake up and greet each day at 1440 Multiversity with activities that best suit your energy level, mood, and purpose for visiting. Maybe you feel drawn to meditate or walk in the forest. Perhaps you’re in need of some quiet writing or reading time. You might just be eager for every ounce of sleep you can get.

Faculty-led program sessions and R&R specialty classes typically begin at or around 9:00 am. How you spend your morning before that is entirely up to you.

SAMPLE MORNING SCHEDULE

6:45 – 7:45 am      Your Choice*
7:00 – 9:00 am      Breakfast at Kitchen Table
9:00 – 11:30 am    Program Session**

*Options include yoga, meditation, or movement classes; walking in the redwoods; exercising at the Fitness Center; visiting campus cafés; or enjoying time to rest.
**R&R guests choose from a variety of shorter specialty workshops.

Afternoon

Look forward to healthy, seasonal, locally sourced culinary delights at Kitchen Table every day at lunchtime.

Afternoon program sessions and R&R specialty classes typically resume at 1:30 pm and run for about two hours. Often, the rest of your day is open, depending on your specific program’s schedule. Free time is the perfect opportunity to book a massage or nourishing body treatment at the Healing Arts center, browse campus shops, or meet a friend for hot tea or a glass of wine.

Evening

After a fresh, delicious dinner at Kitchen Table, gather with friends under the stars to relax by a fire pit, take a soak in the infinity-edge hot tub at the Healing Arts center, or enjoy evening events including speaking engagements, poetry readings, and musical performances.
